A sincere wedding invitation

My parents were rather pissed today because they received an invitation to a friend's wedding via email. They got angrier because the bride and groom wrote 1 invitation and CC copied to everyone in their Internet address book. Haha..Such convenience! Well, I know we're in the modern era where messages can be transferred across with just a push of a button via a thin fiber optic wire but hey, how about manners? As a respect to the guest, I believe the bride and groom-to-be should at least send out wedding invitations to each and every guest they wish to invite rather than an email. A personalized hand written card really shows the sincerity of the couple.. Don't you think so?
