BBQ Chicken @ NXZ

After a hard day painting and washing and cleaning up @ the new apartment, we treat ourselves to a very sinful dinner cooked in a 'slightly' healthy way restaurant just a stone throw away from our apartment. Am I confusing you with the my statement highlighted in red? Well, BBQ Chicken claims that they use 100% olive oil in their cooking. So, fried chicken is sinful but when it's fried in olive oil, it's considered 'slightly' healthier right? right? :p

The interior was rather attractive. Now I wonder how their food tasted like.

1st in the world to use 100% Olive oil? Eh... I thought I was the 1st!

We had Jerk BBQ and also Korean Charboiled that day. Both dish looks similar, so I only post one of the photo here.

Jerk BBQ
Chicken whole leg cooked over charcoal fire with no additional oil used then spread with authentic Korean style barbecue sauce made of more than 20 flavourful natural seasoning and red pepper grain giving it a little tinge of spiciness.

Korean Char boiled
Using only the most tender leg meat chicken meat, it is marinated in a natural sauce made of 30 secret ingredients then roasted first with hardwood charcoal, then followed by roasting on earthenware. [Source]

We also ordered their chef's recommendation: Golden Strip Salad. Not bad!

The heap of fried left in our plates. Fries fried in 100% Olive oil? Mmm.. oh no, that's too huge a heap to finish up... :)

German Deli iMBiSS @ Ara Damansara

Having a German sausage deli smacked right at my neighbourhood is truly GOD SENT! If you were to follow my foodie blog adventures for a while, you'll know I've this constant craving for these fat juicy Bratwurst, sausages and cold cuts. *salivating*.

The man behind the counter looks abit like this guy painted on the wall... Mmm..I wonder if he's the owner of this place.

Smoked duck breast sandwiched in between two pieces of warm bun for yours truly.. RM15++

XT had their Hawaiian chicken ..."bah, I don't remember the name" sandwish. It was equally good and look at the number of cold cuts inbetween the buns! RM9++

"Miss Bratwurst Queen a.k.a ME" will NEVER leave this place without sinking her mouth on some bratwursts. This time around, we tried the Currywurst. The bratwursts were juicy and the gravy was not spicy at all, it tasted like spaghetti sauce. RM12++

Dining here isn't cheap considering these are only "snacks" to us Asians but hey! cold cuts, smoked meat and bratwursts are NEVER cheap isn't it?

Wendy's @ Sunway Pyramid

Another backdated post on the latest fastfood joint in town. If you would ask how would I rate their burgers? I would say they're 1/2 a size bigger than our McD range of burgers in Malaysia and 1/2 the price cheaper than our dear Carl's Jr.

Just try sinking your teeth into these beef patties and you'll say goodbye to our Big Macs.

Don't really like their prawn burger but bravo to the non soggy and crispy patties!

They claimed that their chilli soup is rich and meaty....

We've tried and still think it's diluted and needs alot of improvement. It's not bean-ny and meaty enough..

Two thumbs up to their baked jacket potato!

We'll definately visit Wendy's again but only for their heavenly beefs..
