When you have a 'sot' 'sot' girlfriend....

She will force request you to drive to other people's rubber estate.
Risking yourself from being chased by the owner's guard dog!

You're required to gobble down a litre of mineral water in 30 seconds because she needs an empty bottle. Next, you're required to walk down the car and hunt for.................

THESE!

SO THAT SHE CAN ENJOY WATCHING THEM DOING THESE....

An ANT FARM?????!!!!!

Cactus frenzy

Remember the log I found
yesterday? It's sitting right next to my little ducky & all my spiky baybees. :)

My cactus are multiplying pretty fast.. Must be the "organic spray" dad bought me from Cameron Highlands.

I didn't know gardening can be therapeutic!

Better Dancers Score Higher In The Romance Stakes?!?

An interesting article I found on the net to share with all of you who loves dancing as much as L'abeille....

Shake your bootie and get more bootie. At least that's the message from researchers who say that better dancers do better in the love department. So where's the surprise in that? Well, it's taken until now for researchers to prove scientifically what we've all suspected for years. The study, by scientists at Rutgers University, links for the first time dancing ability to established measures of mate quality in humans.

The journal Nature carries details of the study, where scientists created computer-animated figures that duplicated the movements of 183 Jamaican teenagers dancing to popular music. The animated figures were based on real dancers who had infrared reflectors affixed to 41 body locations to capture and measure detailed body movements.

The researchers then asked the study subjects to evaluate the dancing ability of these animated figures. The figures were gender-neutral, faceless and the same size - all to keep evaluators from boosting or dropping dancers' scores based on considerations other than the dance moves.
Interestingly, the researchers also evaluated each dancer for body symmetry, an accepted indicator in most animal species (including humans) of how well an organism develops despite problems it encounters as it matures. Symmetry, and its association with attractiveness, therefore indicates an organism's underlying quality as a potential mate. The study showed that higher-rated dancers typically had greater body symmetry.

Anthropologist Lee Cronk said that scientists have long suspected that dance plays a role in courtship. "But this has been hard to study because of the difficulty of isolating dance movements from variables, such as attractiveness, clothing and body features. By using motion-capture technology commonly employed in medical and sports science to isolate dance movements, we can confidently peg dancing ability to desirability," Cronk added.

The researchers also found that symmetric males received better dance scores than symmetric females and that female evaluators rated symmetric men higher than male evaluators rated symmetric men.

"In species where fathers invest less than mothers in their offspring, females tend to be more selective in mate choice and males therefore invest more in courtship display," the researchers concluded. "Our results with human subjects correlate with that expectation. More symmetrical men put on a better show, and women notice."

Stubborn!

Lately, I've been having frequent cramps on my calf and pain on both my knees. Oh ya...a little chest pain too. Do I sound like I'm 55 already? *cough..cough*

But because I can tolerate pain (plus being stubborn), I will usually delay my visit to the doctor until I can't take the suffering anymore :))

The doctor was shocked knowing that I'm doing 2 hrs of high impact exercises a day, 5 times a week. She send me off with a bag full of drugs...and a stern warning "Lady...you either exercise one hour a day, 5 times a week OR 2 hrs a day, 3 times a week". I am bored at home ok? If I don't go to the gym, I'll start talking to the wall...

So being a stubborn me, exercise is no longer something that I want to do to keep me healthy but I was actually addicted to the routine...Sekali I hear Akon singing "Smack That" on the radio, I'll start moving my hips, shaking my booty and tapping my feet automatically! HOW TO STOP DANCING LEH????

Of course X-Trail (my equally stubborn darling..hehe) tried his very best to stop me from abusing my knees..! ..calling me during "gym hours" to check if I'm actually picking up calls. Should I bring my cellphone to the studio tomorrow? *evil laughter*

"Ok, I'll try to cut down the number of hours spent at the gym", I said to myself

But the minute I hit the gym, I continue from one class to another..Sigh...

During these two weeks, strange and phenomenal incidents happened which stops me from doing my usual routine. First, there's a complete blackout at the shopping mall last week, the gym was also affected, no air con=no workout for me. (It's THE day after my doctor visit and I shouldn't be at the gym because I was still on medication).

Today, I missed another session of high impact dancing just because I told X-Trail over the phone that I'm having a mild chest discomfort. No..he didn't stop me from going but this is what happened....

It took me 15 minutes to arrive at the gym today, ()*#$(#) the jam! So, by the time I found my blue cutie compact a parking space, I was left with 5 minutes to walk up the gym, change and enter the dance studio. CLASS starts at 6pm. After removing all my clothes, I realised that I left my shoes in the car. OH well, no big deal lar...I changed to my gym attire, wear my heels and run downstairs to get it from the car. Guess what? By the time I reached the parking lot..I realised that I was holding my locker key instead of (#*$)#( car key!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's already 6:05pm... *Sweat*

So how? If I were to walk upstairs to open up my locker for the car key, it will take another 5 minutes. Walk down the car park will take another 5 minutes... wear socks and shoes will take another 1 minute. Walk up to the gym will take another 5 minutes..arghhhhh crap! In fact, I was already sweating like mad. I gave up! I took a slow walk up the gym, remove all my stuff from the locker and call it a day.

Well, do you think I'm going home and just take a shower and sleep? No way...I washed the car, did a little bit of gardening, cook myself a very tedious and tiring organic meal for one (that's rare!), mopped the flour and nearly bath the dog (but my bitch gave me the "warning-don't touch me" look, so I decided not to touch her!).

I'll try going to the gym again tomorrow! So today I missed an hour of dancing, so tomorrow I'm allowed to dance for two hours............. Right????

Revell Tug Boat

X-trail and I took about a week to complete our first scaled model... It was indeed a test of patience for the both us and a lack of sleep for my poor fellow.... My artistic sister helped out with the final touch and also the little stickers on the boat.

Dad bought the casing for me from Ipoh..Very nicely crafted at only RM25

It's now his turn to pick his choice of model to assemble...and he's searching high and low for a Gundam...

Hopefully, we won't turn the house into a gallery by year 2020

My first dance

A million thanks to my dear Royal Food Taster#2. I managed to get my custom made dance heels (chauffeured twice to the place and I'm still clueless on how to go :S) on time for my LA Style Salsa @ Havana Estudio . ;) .

I know it's never too late to learn but I must say, I SHOULD have started Salsa dancing long long time ago! I've been dancing at the gym for more than a year but I was never thought to stand at the correct posture, how to do a proper turn in "partnerworks" and to do the sway...so da sexy!!

Everybody's kinda tensed up on the first lesson and I get sweaty partner's palm on my under arms... gerrrr....RELAK la brother!! hehehe ... Maybe I need to tie two sponges under my arm for my next lesson..
