What wakes a sleeper-holic early on a lazy Saturday morning?

Well, you might want to try it on your beloved hubby, lovely parents...erm what about teenage kids?....Neh...they won't wake up even if the house is on fire!

But IF YOU'RE a SLEEPER-HOLIC yourself? I'm sorry lah, I can't help you! Maybe you can do this for lunch?

Ok, I tried this method on my sister yesterday hehe... Read on...

First, make your breakfast 'looks' healthy.., wash a few lettuce leaves and remember to wipe it real dry and set aside.

At this point, you won't be able to wake up anybody yet...

Next, prepare the poached eggs. I'm preparing a breakfast for two..so here goes...two poached eggs in the non stick pan with boiling water. You might be asking me why I didn't crack the eggs inside the boiling water. Well it's because the eggs wasn't fresh enough.

Psst...I can already hear someone entering the upstairs toilet. Few minutes later, she went back to her room because her nose was not that sensitive in morning

Patience...you still need a little more time before waking up the hungry monster people upstairs.

Prepare the Hollandaise Sauce with this simple recipe I found from the internet...
Ingredients
2 egg yolks
1/4 teaspoon
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard -- I use Coleman's
1/2 Tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
A little bit of butter

Melt some butter in a sauce pan, and keep warm. Into the blender place the yolks, salt, mustard and lemon juice,. Blend for three seconds.

Heat your melted butter until it just starts to sputter, but not burn. Then turn the blender back on, and while the blender is going, slowly pour in the hot butter.

The temperature of the butter is the secret: It must be very hot, and the hollandaise will thicken immediately. To make a smoother silkier sauce, use only the clarified portion of the melted butter, carefully pouring and leaving the white milk solids in the sauce pan.

The texture should be that of a thick sauce. If your sauce is more of a custard, or if it resembles curdled milk, then you added the butter too quickly. To save the sauce? Add in more milk.

Toast some sour dough bread, ciabatta or English muffins. I'm cheapskate I don't have any at home, so I used white bread. Get some English Roasted Ham or any cold cuts of your choice from the fridge and you can now start brewing some nice coffee.

I can hear someone's back to the washroom to freshen up for breakfast. YES! the smell of morning coffee and slightly burned toast works! woot!

At this point, you're suppose to speed up and work faster now because hungry monsters people are about to come down for breakfast..hehe

Quick... lay a piece of French roasted ham on a piece of toast, a few slices of lettuce, carefully place a piece of poached egg on top of the greens. Last but not least, topper up with the creamy Hollandaise Sauce. Sprinkle some pepper before serving.

Here you go........

A simple EGG BENEDICT for breakfast..

Next, bring everything to the breakfast table and give your love ones a smile as he/she walk towards the smell of morning breakfast you ;)

Trust us...A happy day starts with a hearty breakfast and a little beary hug....
