Uncle's holiday

My uncle called me the other day asking me recommendations for a good holiday destination. He knew I love to surf the Internet for information and he also knew that I love to plan trips and holidays. So last night, since I was unable to sleep, I browse a few interesting holiday destination and I found a place which is just perfect for him. It's called the StoneBridge Village. He can rent one of the Branson property over the weekends, gather a few of his golfing friends and have fun at StoneBridge Village. The place was quiet and peaceful with beautiful scenery. I'm gonna call to tell him about this place and oh, maybe I should tag along too!

Mumbo Jumbo @ MyPlaCe

We had a little "Potluck" over the weekend...

Ah Bee prepared chicken wings (birdflu FREE) for BBQ and coleslaw..

Emileen's and Kong's husband came early to light up the BBQ pit while the little apprentise (Clement) stands and watch
The list of food prepared by all who came were Spagetti Balognaise, vanilla and chocolate ice cream cake, chicken Wings, coleslaw, fruit Salad, roast sweet potato, BBQ sweetcorn, sausages, Chicken meatballs, popiah, chips, pandan layered jelly & Philippino styled tuna sandwish. Oh ya..not forgetting we had sodas, Champaign, redwine and Vodka too..

It was a blast....and of course there were plenty of leftover which we are gonna have a second party at office today without the booze of course! ;)

And they called it Puppy Love...

Emileen and Kong brought their lovely kids over to my place for the "Mumbo Jumbo Nite" last Saturday..

As my two "Royal Guest" arrives and since they were cute and didn't call me "AUNTY"..pheww!!

I gave them their party bags..and pass them my "Astro remote-Cartoon channel" just to keep them occupied for the night while WE adults can do our "Adult thingy" and enjoy our party muahaha

The prince and princess enjoying their dinner at the coffee table...both looking sweet and innocent...

It's getting late and Kong decided to go home with her princess..We were shocked to see a little "drama" outside the house as the little handsome was clinging on not to ME but the girl he spent the night with..hehe..

Clement: Liya, please follow me pleaseeeeeee!!! Don't GO...

Liya: Noooooooooo, MOMMYYYYYYYYY!!!!

*Clement hugging Liya tight tight*

*Liya struggling to be released from Clement's arm*

Clement: Don't Goooooooo!!!! *crying*

Liya: I DON'T WANT!!!! *cry even louder*

Without much choice...Clement need to let Liya go with the help of the adults.. If you look at the photo closely, you will see Liya's daddy driving her away in their VIOS while Clement's mommy and Lim giving him a little "advice"..

I overheard their "Man-to-Man talk"..muahaha so funnie..

Lim: Hey Clement, you are still young..there's plenty of "girl" out there for you..you don't have to decide your girl now right?

*Clement still in tears watching Liya leaving while sucking his thumb*

Lim: Don't get too upset lar..you are only 4 yrs old...go "chase" her when you are 15 ok? FIFTEEN...

Ah Bee: Wah lau eh...uncle Lim, what advice you are giving this kid ar !!! Based on my past experience hor...I am dead sure Clement will NEVER be ready for courtship at 15!!!..make it 30 ok!! T-H-I-R-T-Y!

*Clement clings on to the neighbour's gate with a wet papaya face for a few minutes and went back to my house to watch TV and started smiling again.* -WOW.. he can get over it so fast...cheh...MAN!! keke

Word of advice to all parents, girlfriends, wives and ladies...

"No matter how innocent one boy and a girl sits close together at a party, NEVER EVER expect nothing will happen between them... ;) " I've learned my lesson well... Cheers!

This song is dedicated to the two love birds who just turned 3 and 4 this year :)

PUPPY LOVE
Donny Osmond
(Paul Anka)
And they called it puppy love
Oh, I guess they'll never know
How a young heart really feels
And why I love her so
And they called it puppy love
Just because we're in our teens
Tell them all it isn't fair
To take away my only dream
I cry each night my tears for you
My tears are all in vain
I'll hope and I'll pray that maybe someday
You'll be back in my arms once again
Someone, help me, help me, help me please
Is the answer up above
How can I, how can I tell them
This is not a puppy love

After listening to Ronald Cheng's "Wu Lai" too many times yesterday midnight and having a abdominal muscle pain due to too much of latin dancing at the studio, I came to work like a walking injured zombie. Drank a cuppa "kopi kau kau" but still can't help...SUDDENLY... I saw this...

Ah Bee fast fast "restore" or "maximise" the conversation screen to congratulate him...at the same time wanna "kay poh" to know who is the unlucky girl..hehe.....and it turned out to be a great 3 seconds of excitement..he's just marryin' companies..cheh...cheh...

OH NO!!!!...I was holding Sandy's right paw...go figure where did her left paw went to? "S-A-N-D-Y!!! how could you do that to me...spoiling our image at the park"

Wake me up for the weekends...

Just when I thought will do this over the weekends...

Wake up late, catch up on some Astro programs which I've missed over the week, eat canned corn niblets and imagine it's something Jamie Oliver cooked for me and do sweet nothing... Well, it didn't turn out as planned but somehow, it's even more F-U-N..

Ex colleagues was at my place on Friday night for a "noisy" dinner & card playing session on Friday night... Ended around 3am

Please pretend you didn't see the rubbish laying under the glass table which I promised myself that I will tidy since last weekend...

Early next morning, went down to SS2 market to hunt for chicken wings for next weekend's colleagues get together pot luck gathering at my place. Ah Bee's gonna prepare Honeyed BBQ chicken wings. Haha, you guys really can trust a depressed, lost love lady cooking in the kitchen hor...Be afraid...be very very afraid! Don't say I never warn you hor!! *laughing like a witch while washing the chicken wings at the sink*

No, this is not a photo of "Dark water" sightings taken at my office...I noticed that recently, I was kind of jealous that my broom and mop at home looks better as compared to my crown of glory. Beh tahan liao..did a rebonding on Saturday afternoon and this time..without highlighting my hair. Mmm... I realised that I still got some purple and brown highlight on my hair hor.. It took me a total of 5 crazy hours sitting like a doll reading all the magazine at the counter just to get this done. So sian!

In the evening, met up with ex's punya exschoolmate (ya i know..it's very complicated) and some good chi muis for dinner in Kepong. No time to take photo because the guys were late and we were famished. We went to Bernard's @ Centrepoint for more fun and laughters after dinner. Well, the "laughter" is actually on me lar..why? Thank God nobody took photo of me at the pool table. Imagine this, legs must open wide wide, arm must be straight, backside must tilt a little, head must go low so that you can aim at the BALL...sigh...After all the aiming and positioning..I just have to hit the wrong colour!! Anyway, thanks AY and GW for being a good and patient coach...
After church on Sunday, Ah Bee had lunch with another lady friend at Manhattan Fish Market
Grilled Seafood Platter for 2
Went to Toys 'R' US after meal. Ah Bee would like to prepare some goodie bags for those kicik mayung-little angels who are coming to my house gathering this coming Saturday but somehow, my attention was drawn away like a little kid as I entered the toy store..
"Plastic" Happy meal at RM39.90 anyone?
The range of party bags on display made me wanna buy them all. Thomas the train with a face lar, Winnie the Pooh lar , Mickey and Friends lar , Spongebob lar ...arrr...just can't decide which one..Why must life be so complicating hor....
Finally, I found the 70th Anniversary Edition of Monopoly for myself!
Friends and their lovely wives came over for dinner on Sunday evening and of course...we "deflowered" the Monopoly set until midnight..

Szechuan Dinner @ Aman Suria

My aunt and uncle drove a freaking 1 hour and 30 minutes all the way to my house just to pick me up for a dinner...sigh...so touched sob sob.. NO, not because I am staying inside a deep deep jungle up on a treehouse, yesterday's heavy rain caused flash flood and massive jam all over KL and PJ area!
As soon as they arrived, I was taken on a 30 minutes JOY RIDE in search for a short cut to Aman Suria and we somehow lost our way...We nearly ended up having Nissin cup noodle at my place...

We cleared the snacks in just a few minutes..

F-I-N-A-L-L-Y, we arrived at "Restaurant Jia Shan Cheng" (Sezchuan cuisine) @ Aman Suria around 9:30pm... our vision was blur, our tummy was empty, we can't really think properly, our mouth stinks...ermm..maybe because too much of cursing on the jammed journey :p

While we were waiting for our food, we saw a few interesting stuff to read around us...

Check this out...their lobsters can cook!

Those who would like to have a 'golden mouth', please order this "Carb" aka crab dish.

"Dare to try!?" No I dare not!

RM5.90 for "Half Freedom"?

No way!!, I can get "Full Freedom" for F-R-E-E!

Here comes our FOOD. Uncle was too hungry and too generous. He ordered food that serves 6 pax for just the 3 of us..

In random order...Eggplant fried in garlic chilli, Kung Poh chicken with cashiews, dice fried slice meat and my all time fav dumplings served with vinegar and ginger.

As usual, Ah Bee was only able to finish 1/4 bowl of rice..

-The verdict-

The service was fantastic

The food was super duper yummie but not for those who can't take spicy food

The waitress were somehow pretty and approachable (As usual lar, for men who wanna "cuci mata")

The price? I donno lar...Uncle's treat!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1,000,000 x "tenkiu" to Uncle Wong and Aunt Grace for the nice dinner!!
