Ratatouille

We watched Ratatouille yesterday afternoon. Two thumbs up!!

The story is all about an ambitious rat named Remy who dreams of becoming a chef. While in the attempt of stealing saffron from an old lady's kitchen, Remy "accidentally" uproots his family from the French countryside to the sewers of Paris, and finds himself situated underneath a restaurant made famous by his culinary hero, Auguste Gusteau. In that restaurant, he met Linguini [a hopeless chef] and help him create a soup that wins very good reviews from the world's most powerful food critic.

Other than the 'free back massage' by preschoolers [because the little girl was constantly kicking and coughing pop corn onto my hair and her parents just don't care] and crying infants, we enjoy the entire movie. Eh!! ...don't jump to conclusion that we dislike children but why parents need to bring infants to the cinema?

To be frank, I believe this is an adult cartoon and it probably will bore preschoolers. Ratatouille is all about the kitchen, the pots and pans and French recipes. How many kids or infants [eyes rolling] are fascinated by gourmet cooking?!? You tell me...
