Vacuum cleaner for our new home

Since we'll be moving to the new condo very soon, X-T and I had been busy checking out all the electronic equipments in the market. The more survey we do, the more confused we become. Honestly, our grandmother used to have only one type of vacuum cleaner. There's no such thing as wet and dry vacuum cleaners. There's no funny technological term attached to the machine and only one OFF and ON button sitting at the top of the device. When the dust bag is full, they get it replaced in a few seconds. NO hassle and no complicated instructions. Nowadays, people go for the design, the technology and lately, we heard of vacuum cleaners that can even clean the air? Mmm, we're spoiled with choices!
