Village Park Restaurant

X-T will usually ask for his nasi lemak fix every now and then. My man just can't live a month without me the fragrant coconut rice, crispy anchovies and sambal. ngek! Can't blame him, it's our Malaysian unofficial 'national dish' and it's quite addictive if prepared the right way! I heard and read good reviews about Village Park Restaurant serving yummy nasi lemak and they serve "dinosaur Milo". Recently, X-T called for nasi lemak again and therefore, we drove all the way to Damansara Uptown on a Saturday morning to check out the place...

We ordered the usual hot Milo and a glass of "dinosaur Milo". The dinosaur Milo truly lives up to its name. It's humongous with generous sprinkle of Milo powder still floating on top of the drink. I left 1/2 of it behind though X-T helped ..

You guys were right, the nasi lemak is yummilicious! The rice was fluffy and not sticky at all. The sambal was not too sweet and the beef rendang was just heavenly!

We ordered a serving of fried chicken. This one was just OK.

It's truly a place worth visiting for comfort food at a reasonable price!
